Export and read an HTML package

What is in the package

A memory package includes an HTML reading page, records and profile information, related photos, videos and media previews. It is for reading outside the app and cannot restore app data. Keep a full backup when changing phones.

Export the files

Open Me → Backup & export → Export Memory Collection.
Start the export and wait for content preparation and media previews.
Save the ZIP archive through the system file picker and copy it to your computer.

Larger media libraries need more time and free storage. If export does not finish, keep your existing records, check the message and try again.

Read offline on a computer

Extract the entire ZIP into one folder, then open its index.html in a desktop browser. Keep the page and media folders together. Do not move only the HTML file or open the page from inside the compressed archive.

Media previews and files

Some videos or Live Photos may not produce a compatible browser preview. Open retained media files with a suitable local player. Ordinary photos may have been compressed during import; export cannot recreate photo-library originals.

Check before sharing

Packages may include private writing, later thoughts, people profiles, companion names, locations and media metadata. Review the whole package before sending it. Deleting entries in the app does not delete exported files or copies held by others.
