Getting started
Set up the app, save a place and make your first memory.
Install and set up
Stops & Stories is currently in TestFlight testing and is not yet publicly available on the App Store. See the download section for its release status. The iPhone app requires iOS 18 or later. iPad, Mac and Android versions have not been released.
Choose your preferred language during the welcome flow. You can change language and appearance later in Me → App settings. No account is required.
Save your first place
Open the map, search for or select a place, and save it. Mark it Want to go, Been there or Go again. Add photos, categories, tags and notes as needed.
As your collection grows, use filters to narrow it down. Spin & Go can choose from your saved places when you cannot decide.
Make your first memory
Open the check-in entry from the bottom navigation. Choose a place and time, add a title, writing, a mood and selected media, then save. Find it in your memory list and organize it into a collection.
With friends nearby, try a group check-in. Everyone actively submits their own contribution and keeps an independent copy when it is complete.
Keep a backup
Memories stay on your device and are not automatically uploaded to a developer server. Go to Me → Backup & export to export a full backup, then keep it on a computer or in your own iCloud Drive. Check that it has been saved before changing phones, uninstalling or clearing data.
