How do themes, palettes and templates differ?

Separate settings control backgrounds, colors, reading layouts and share images.

Each setting has a different role

Interface theme: the background artwork, texture and decorative design.
Palette: the interface color combination, selected separately from the theme.
Memory display template: how memories are presented inside the app.
Sharing template: the style of an image you actively prepare to share.

Changing these settings does not rewrite memories or publish content. See appearance settings and display and sharing templates.
